The campground and especially the bathrooms and showers were very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was peaceful and quite even though it's located on Business 17. We will return.
The sites are not huge but should not be a problem. Most all of them are pull-through. The road to the campground is a mountain road but is not a hazard at all. The people were very friendly and very helpful and went out of their way to be sure the stay was good. The only reason I did not give this very nice campground a 10 is because the Wi-Fi only works near the office.
We just finished a 2 week stay here and loved it. There are several permanent residents but all the ones we met were friendly. The staff here is very friendly and helpful. The park is clean and the sites are dirt or grass but no problem. Lots of activities and the 2 nights at the honey pot are great. We stayed as coast2coast.
Great stop over park, easy access to I-95. The lady runs a tight ship, which I like. All sites pull thru and level, we stayed 1 night on way to Fla. and 2 coming back. Be sure to visit the Okefenoke Wildlife Refuge, a one of a kind place. The town of Kingsland is around 5 miles away and has most anything you might want.
The campground was nice, but roads muddy from rain. Very quiet, and we stayed 5 days as C2C members. The town of Washington is great for sightseeing, do not miss the Estuarium and the pontoon ride up the Pamilico River.
We stayed for 7 nights, and this place remains one of the better places to stay. We were on the sound side this time and a cold front came thru and wind gusts up to 50 MPH will shake you up. So much to see here, this time we discovered Roanoke Island and the aquarium. Do not miss these.
We stayed as C2C members, the park is great, very clean, people are very helpful and friendly. Pricey if you don't have some type of membership, but others in area close to same price.
We stayed at campground for 5 days during Thanksgiving. Excellent park and the people were very friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make sure things were right. Very enjoyable time and Savannah is awesome.
We stayed for 2 nights as C2C members. The park is very clean and staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. The streets are paved and the sites are level with concrete. My wife likes the close proximity of Tanger Outlet, I like the Bass Pro Shop.
We camped here March 14-19th, this park is excellent and they are making improvements. Lots for kids to do during season. Park is very clean and the bathrooms and showers are spotless. We plan to go back 2 times during summer and again in fall. It is a C2C member and not sure if they allow non-members.
Park was in good condition and they are continuing to upgrade. Baths and showers were very clean, pool was nice. The people running it were very friendly and helpful. It is a membership campground but takes others also. Less than 10 minutes fro N.C. Zoo and about same to K&W.
